27 WISE women from various companies and organizations – all working in the sustainability and environmental fields – met to go snowshoeing on Saturday, March 19th at Trillium Lake, where we were blessed with sunny and beautiful weather. We couldn’t have asked for a better day.
We completed the 5 mile loop at a leisurely pace, stopping for snacks and talking the whole way. A nice woman took this picture of our group, despite holding a dog and being unsure of how to operate the camera.
Following our snowshoe loop, we met at the Ice Axe Grill, in Government Camp, where we ate pizza and nachos, and drank beers.
It was great day. Many thanks to all of the women who made the trip a great success.
