WISE Women Cook at Abby’s Table

On Saturday morning, December 10th, 20 WISE women gathered at Abby’s Table (609 SE Ankeny) to learn to network, but also to cook and eat delicious vegetarian, gluten free cuisine.

First, Abby talked to us about the menu, which included such things are beet ravioli, pumpkin and quinoa cakes, kale salad and vanilla macaroons.

Next, we started cooking in Abby’s amazing kitchen.  Abby had prepared all the ingredients ahead of time, so preparation was very fast.

We finished cooking around 12:30 and sat down to eat a delicious meal at a beautifully-set table.

Delicious!

The meal was delicious and the company spectacular.  Thanks to all the women who participated and stay tuned for information on our next event: bouldering!

And, if you’re interested, Abby’s Table hosts weekly family style dinners and is an ideal spot for private events of all kinds.
